No XXX Domain for Now

I think the XXX domain would be a good idea. I also think that most of the main providers of porn would actually want to have an easy way that they could be identified, like an XXX top level domain. They don't want kids to find them - kids don't have credit cards and can't pay. They don't want folks who don't want to look at porn to accidentally find them because it increases the overall outrage about porn's pervasiveness on the internet. I guess if you are talking about the publishers that depend on subterfuge to get viewers, whatever their reason (money in some way or another), they probably wouldn't want such any easy way to be identified and, of coarse, they will continue to do what they do. But, by classifying a big chunk of the stuff and organizing it into a specified domain, I think it would go a ways toward keeping the stuff in a place where those that want it can find it, and those that don't and kids, won't.

Now, for those that are opposed to porn in general on the internet, I just think that battle was lost a long time ago. You're not going to get rid of it because there are people that want it. You might as well do what you do with dirty magazines and put them behind the counter at the mini mart.

No XXX domain for now.
