Let Him Hang

My views on the death penalty have changed a bit over the years. I used to be steadfastly pro, but my faith in the system's ability convict the proper individual responsible for a death-penalty worthy crime has diminished over the years. Too many death row inmates have been exonerated by DNA testing. And gung-ho prosecutors looking to put notches on the resume sometimes get overly enthusiastic about convicting someone, anyone, for a high profile crime.

However, in the case of Zacarias Moussaoui, this guy is just asking for it. He is obviously a really bad man who would like to kill lots of Americans. He's the atypical evil terrorist person we are at war with and so, in war, we kill the enemy or force him to surrender. Moussaoui wants to fight on... so let him hang.
